Evaluation Code Changes
Hey Team!
As we know OT and PT evaluation codes are changing January 1st, 2017. This is another change across the board. We as a discipline absolutely have to implement and become well versed in this change.
I am by no means an expert in this, yet. But WebPT is doing some good informative writing and will be hosting a webinar to help us bridge the gap!
So where do I find this information???
Great question!
1. You can read the email sent to your BOR email today. Subject: Are you ready for the new CPT codes?. In this letter you will see links to a video tutorial and then at the end of the letter you will see a link for a webinar to sign up for. I already signed up for it and even if I cant do it then they will send the webinar and handout to my email!
I could not attach the links or I would have.
2. Sign into WebPT. On your homepage look for the News and Updates box in the upper left hand side. Click the Start learning the new eval codes for 2017! link. This will lead you to other links for the light video tutorial and for the webinar in December.
3. AOTA has some information
Also, more in-depth information will come available as the roll out continues.
Thanks Everyone!
